Series 1 / Prototype

[RMSr.1] (Series One/ Prototype) is an explorative set of artwork studies within my ongoing series of Reliquary-Memes. These layered works play with numerous materials, painterly traditions, and local aesthetic influences to create works that further build discourse around language and found materials within my practice. Appropriating from local Southern California ephemera these “one-off” prototypes frame an investigation into the shifting perception of nostalgia, interconnectivity, folklore, and proverbial thoughts regarding time & mortality.
